The Story
From one venture to a ledger.
The holding grew out of a conviction formed over years of work in education and technology: that the most valuable thing you can give a person is a way to prove what they can do. The first ventures — in challenge-based learning and verifiable credentials — came directly from that conviction.
Adjacent fields followed the same logic. Functional nutrition, because capability starts with health. Marketing technology, because every small venture we ran needed leverage we could not buy at fair prices — so we built it. Family and lifestyle services, because families are the institution we optimize for.
Today the holding operates as Aurea CV OÜ from Tallinn, Estonia — its current home. The ventures it holds are global by design, and the holding goes where the work leads.
The Name
Aurea — the golden.
Aurea means golden. Our mark is the golden spiral — the proportion nature uses when it grows: the nautilus shell, the sunflower head, the unfurling fern. Growth by proportion rather than haste, each turn built on the strength of the last.
And a conviction to go with it: gold itself is neither good nor bad — it becomes good when it serves. Capital in service of capability is the only kind we are interested in holding.
